European Parliament
Bordes, Cauquil and Laguiller (GUE/NGL ),
in writing.
(FR)
We voted for this text and the majority of the amendments insofar as they can encourage improvements in higher education in Europe and further greater openness in higher education to other cultures and languages for students in both the European Union and third countries.
Of course, however, we rejected the amendments which sought, openly or indirectly, to further private higher education institutions or allow employers, whatever the pretext might be, to increase their hold over university education.
