Mr President, perhaps the most important decision the Irish presidency faces is the choice of Mr Prodi's successor as President of the Commission. I am sure the President-in-Office of the European Council, the Taoiseach, consults you, Mr Prodi, on the sort of qualities that a President of the Commission requires.
