The creation of Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas with the EU is one of the main incentives for partner countries – namely Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan – to pursue democratic reform, economic stabilisation and integration, transparency and trade regulation. These partnerships are a priority objective of the European Neighbourhood Policy with regard to its Eastern partners. I voted for the report, as I consider it vital to pursue the further deepening of the European Neighbourhood Policy in relation to our Eastern partners, namely, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
