European Parliament
A7-0204/2012
Ivo Vajgl (ALDE ),
Blue-card question.
(SL)
Ms Gallo, unlike you, I am very happy today that we are running this debate under pressure – under the pressure of tens or hundreds of thousands of young people who are intelligent, moving in the IT world, who know more about the Internet and its many freedoms than either of us do.
I would in no way underestimate their opinions.
(The President cut off the speaker)
The question is: do you really think that – while we are in a situation where the eyes of several hundred thousand young people in Europe are watching our debate – we can afford to underestimate them and to tell them that, no matter what they are saying and asking us, to reject ACTA is just rubbish, as your colleague just said?
