After an amazing campaign of misinformation, Parliament has rejected the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA). Just one article concerned Internet users. The prime purpose of the text was to protect us against counterfeiting, in particular intellectual property. By rejecting it, we have paved the way for the relocation of jobs outside Europe and for an upsurge in the black economy, child labour and other forms of exploitation. Congratulations to those responsible for this failure.
